For your role in a TV crime drama, you'll receive a call sheet (this is the same document used on thousands of sets right now), a call time, and a part in a fast-paced crime drama that has twist and turns. All parts of this hard-hitting drama can be played by either a man or a woman. You'll rehearse with Los Angeles stage director Don Stewart, who has worked with everyone from Broadway actors to beginners. You'll work inside an actual sound stage.
Be prepared to work. And, work hard. This is not a walk-on part. This is a serious and important role. Without you, there is no show. You'll learn Broadway acting exercises, memorize lines, (and if you can't memorize) learn to use a teleprompter. You will be part of an ensemble cast that will include your fellow "stars" as well as one or two real-life Hollywood actors. For one week, you'll experience exactly what they experience. Be prepared to be on-the-go from morning until night. When not rehearsing or having your photos done for your magazine cover, you will be rubbing elbows with Hollywood insiders. You will also have a chance to get an inside peek at the wonders of movie magic.
How does it all happen? Find out in this camp! When not rehearsing or having your photos done for your magazine cover, you will get an inside peek at the wonders of movie magic. Such as:
How does a prop gun fire?
How do gunshots appear on screen?
How does an actor take a punch?
How can a bottle get smashed on an actor's head?
What are marks? And how do you hit them?
How does an actor and/or a TV series make it?
The importance of the press and how an interview can make or break a show.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I have never acted before in my life? No experience? No problem! This camp is designed specifically for you. You'll not only gain some valuable skills, you'll have a great time in the process.
Do I have to memorize many lines? You are only asked to read them. Sets are equipped with teleprompters, which enable you to read your lines during rehearsal instead of memorizing them or in case you forget one.
What clothes do I need to bring? You will be starring in a crime drama involving a leading technology company. On set, you will need to look like a business executive or a working detective. Two casual business attire outfits are suggested for shoots, along with a slightly more upscale outfit for your photo shoot and a comfortable outfit for your individual press interview.
Am I responsible for transportation? Just get yourself to the hotel and leave the rest to Hollywood TV Star Fantasy Camp.
What kind of food can I expect? Like any Hollywood TV set, meals are professionally catered. You can expect a variety of choices, with something to suit everyone's taste.
What kind of actors will I be working with? You will be working alongside some actors in today's TV world, as well as meeting other industry professionals who will be visiting the set or joining the group as special guests during mealtime.
Can I bring a significant other? Friends and significant others are welcome. Your traveling companion can join you each day to watch rehearsals, accompany you on your photo shoot and interview, or even be on camera as an "extra".
How do I save the memories of my experience? In addition to photos from your professional photo shoot and the magazine cover with your likeness, you will receive a DVD of your performance, along with starring credit. Hollywood TV Star Fantasy Camp also offers an optional behind-the-scenes video of your time.
